Heartbreaker

Standard

Beautiful, unique, smart but covered in the midst of artistry Loving caring a heart performer

Her Heart was outward organ so when it loved you felt every beat

When it hurt it bleed and was torn laceration deep

For years sustained heavy

Mistreatment

Every scar creating thicker skin but her heart was an outside organ

So coverage of GBH

Was only every seen battery

Built…

Just to love and let one in

Betrayed and bludgeoned

To lies and deceit

Cared for temporarily to feel the same feat

How does one leave the byproduct of neglect and negativity
Screams from her mind control her emotional state of mind

Powerful and destructive of any weakness shown
But yet her love bleeds

Instead of pouring it’s sweet essence into another more worthy

She proceeds to recover

Knowing there’s hope in this

“If there is?…”

“It better come quick”

Years of turmoil uncertainty it’s not just about the kids

Love him tender love him sweet

Is all she does but it’s never enough for him to see
How her love here bleeds

Waiting to fill his cup

Waiting praying

God please intercede

Only you know what we need

Provide us with the wisdom and understanding to give each other what we need

As two hearts long to be happy consistently

Eternal Happiness…

Standard

Happiness is a figment of the imagination Tends to arrive on its own agenda

To any destination

Paralysed by its fulfilment and anticipation

Happiness is like a gradient it dips and climbs

At the sign of a good or bad occasion

Joy on the other hand has a persistence that happiness could not fathom nor compare

But the thing with Joy

Once it’s there it should remain

But along comes pain and breaks up my Love affair with joy
Questioning my happiness

Dipping in and out sadness

To the point I have replaced my joy with gladness and contentment

Which I like but disagree to be complacent

I’m riddling with feelings

Figments of the imagination

Designed to categorise the places our voyage of life takes us
Happiness and I have mutual understanding

We don’t really mix

So we embrace each other

When other guest like

Love and joy come into the mix

Joy is my gain as well as my pain

Life tends to play these sort of games

Time x Time

Standard

Fascinating how time multiplies and gives us less time
So I look through my eyes’ eyes
And look upon you
Caramel skin radiant

I was lost for words internally
But spoke freely
Texturise my coarseness of being off the ball.
Reversibility had kicked in.
I was smitten
No longer lean and stiff.

Time multiples and I realise I haven’t done enough to have you so,
I must learn to increase what I do.

I want you to feel my love
While I help you
Do you hair
Show you I care
And even learn to braid
Just to spend more time with you.
You’re gorgeous through and through
Phenomenal is the minimum any person should utter to describe you

I hope you take my name cause I don’t see anyone who it would better place.

The one is dated, because you’re more than one person to me.
You’re my friend my lover my partner in and out of crime. You’re the reason I want to rhyme.
Love is not blind
It’s us.
And time with you is the only thing I lust.

A Fathers Note

Standard

I’ve embraced the true love my daughter has to give

At the tender age of 18 months 25 days and about 56 minutes.

Since you entered this place of gloom

All the bad things our world is accustom to

But that doesn’t phase you.

You stand tall

Smile widely

And encircle my lips with kisses,

More than I’ve given you.

You kiss me

Like you’re trying to seize each moment

You’ve wanted a kiss from your dad to you.

Like when you’d suck my bottom lip.

You weren’t even a month old.

You’d fall asleep in my arms and I’d fall asleep with you.

It was a thing…we had

Just me and you

So now you kiss me and offer your cheeks and forehead for kisses

Especially for those months when I go away lil pip.

Once engrossed in the arts of university.

Unpleasant as it left a distateful presence

As the moments of which I would cherish left me.

Your midnight screams when you’d want me not your mummy.

I know…I know

She’s beautiful and all.

But I can carry you for longer

Command the room with an energy

That’s just a little bit stronger.

(Hehe).

I have missed your screams of excitement,

Your cries, your smile

Your smelly dairy-air.

I’ll miss your embrace.

Your clenched fists

When you think you can take me on even at your tender age.

You’re extremely brave.

As push kids and grips up kids

Who dare to touch your dads belongings.

You’re under 2ft tall but would challenge anyone

Even kids bigger than you giving as good as you get.

Sometimes I think your talking like Kevin Hart and saying

‘You gon learn today’

Each day a lady of beauty, strength and wisdom blooms

I wish this and more for you.

To my lil Ki.B,

I’ve known you all your life and,

As your father I can already say you’ve done great.

She said…

Standard

She said kiss me like u miss me!

So I did,

She couldn’t control the drip from her lip!

Exterior positioned with a slight dip!

I prepared with a

Semi…

…strip…

Tease

Humidity rising

So she was official moist-ur-ised

Took a peak inside!

But as I did, I pulled away

She said…

‘Please’…

I said ‘I don’t fulfil wants

Only needs

So if you’re in need

I’ll present to you my sweet seed

Potent like alcohol

Smooth like whip cream

She said…

(Nothing)

As her eyes showed me she was in need.

She couldn’t really do without

This kiss beyond her naval

With Peaches and cream

I used my talents,

Temporarily,

She was unable

To speak

But, she did think

Why have I not met him before

‘He treats me like a lady

With the affection

And attention I crave’.

So when I entered

To her every need, I was endeavoured

See when she needs me she expects nothing but, needs all that I can give.

When she wants me it’s just a buzz and like a drug.

You can lose your flight.

But she needed me, and I needed her

She said take it slow,

So I started with

Some oral-pla…I mean foreplay

Created enough juice

For us to act like plants and reproduce

In acts fertilisation

With no embryo production

Just an induction

Into a world where she’d experience

What it’s like to make your walls

Burst…

Love Analogy

Standard

Once deluded and intrusive
To the concept of what love is
Brought forth conclusions

Which were caterogorically
Disproven but like a student
I found its plus points
And with my argumentative nature
My conclusion was well proven

Despite previous
Evidence
Annihilating my
Disposition

I continued to use it.

It combined the character of one whose worth less than I had envision
how you were suppose to be
My perception was tarnished
Disapproven, Stupid and most of all disrespectful to you

My eyes have wished for better days
Filtering the image of your rage
Blazed concentrated with utter disgust.
I prayed I’d never have to lose you but
Love was once true and she came through you but human nature had misused you and confused me
Bittersweet was the melody
Kanye lyrics getting the best of me

In you I found love pure
It was unknown to me

So rather than cherish you
I bespoke of my flawed
Analogy…
